 Slow Fade
Look away and you will miss
The best of days and you will wish
You'd seen that train upon the tracks
That barreled down today now fact

Fact is you who fails to keep
The sincere things in life yet sleep
Is what you do and what you did
To bring upon what GOD forbids

Wealth thought yours splurged so careless
Sin rampant in you thoughtless
Of the life One gave to you
That burn your soul and pockets too

Your eyes will fix on whats not yours
Seems innocent this visual tour
Will come full circle when you are done
Leaving heartbreak in more than one

Slowly you fade from gray to black
The life you had you won't win back
Unless you stop and change the course
There will be loss and great remorse

Slow fade strangles your life slowly
Invisible to your eyes only
Appears only when obvious
Upon once eyes oblivious

Inspired by the song " Slow Fade " by Casting Crowns
