Seven Pounds
Without a doubt, this has to be
The essence of humanity
A movie filmed that brought to light
Subject matters impacting life
Upon a screen we viewed giving
Of life at times so unforgiving
Reminding me of why we're here
Dropping my guard pounded by tears
There was a part of us right there
On silver screen my heart does wear
Upon my sleeve, upon brown eyes
Inside a soul broken that cried
Amazing how reality
Mankind ignores with sanity
The gifts we bare but fail to share
With those in need, in need of care
An elders hand to be just held
If for a time will do just well
A second chance to one in need
Before death calls and steals the seed
Reflect, assess what you have in
Your hands, your health, maybe burdens
That won't compare to what you see
Upon viewing this great movie
Dedicated to those in need of a donor
and those that have given life a second chance
