Faculty Of The Mind: By Michael Ssemakula

Saving Souls

"We save souls not lives"
Where the precepts are propagated not for verity
Behold marvels not as yet believed to this day

Piece of mind not so mindful as fully depicted
Construed laws, but not what they really stand for
Confession is portended for repentance

All along, birds singing in the wrong choirs
As foxes amble on the golden isles
Where angels wouldn't dare

The second chance blessed and judged by man
Withered roses actualize some one's christen

Sundry faces adrifted from the ever rising star
Where the difference is an obvious inevitability
"What is told is not essentially true for our works"
But the wind is still chiming to a faded legacy

Doors close as fast as they open
Where things embrace an idle-lifeless state
Secrets, barriers, mysteries all professional
In hear we do not enter and deter those vying

Oughts for good bets are highly floated
As the cross and the crown stand for by-elections
