dorset prideAll along the Dorset coast men got into their boats little crafts and dinghy's anything that would float they rowed into the channel out to foreign shores to save the British army from the German foes the brave men and the valiant trapped on Dunkirk shores all young men trapped next to the waves in another long lost war there were sailors all retired fishermen and friend they sailed from Poole and weymouth to save the soldier men when they got the call to rescue they took it all in stride they rowed and sailed through turbulent sea to save the nations pride there on the shores of Dunkirk they saved the country's best all good men and noble they put them to the test the country folk and farmer the workers of the land the brave young men and uns they sailed against the tide then gathered in the harvest the best of England's pride Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
