A Poet's Life

It is strange how that I look now at my life for my next poem.
I scan my emotions and my dreams, my fears, and my sadness;
Life has taken on a new meaning as I look to reach out to others.
Words and expressions pour out from my heart as I live a poet's life.
I look to metaphors to explain my stance, I speak into the dark areas.
I have no thing hidden to the world, as my privacy no longer exists.
I reel off the flow of words stringing them into lines dripping with feeling,
From my fingers, to the keyboard, my life is exposed as I live a poet's life.
For only in the depths of my reality can the energy be tapped into;
As pouring from the source within out into the void in this world.
Giving hope, peace, understanding, love, and truth to others;
From the words to the readers eyes, creation happens, as I live a poet's life.
This eternal energy is the force of creation in our universal realm;
As the creative juices flow into another's soul to be energized from within.
I love reaching inside and pulling out these raw feelings into the sunlight.
I give them form through this process as I live a poet's life.
