Unkempt covers stained by the midday sun
The clock wrestles with silence, it's a minute after one;
Endless thoughts seem to squabble,
Emotions rush in squares and circles.
The eyes close to lure a sleep,
Dream unlocks but not too deep.
Winged visions shackled by a rigid wall,
Regrets tarry as teardrops fall.
