Begging for Blessings

as Jacob did

I too receive
what I came for!
The persistent widow
would have
been my student!
I am Yours
and I was paid for!
Therefore I am royalty,
and I want all
that You intended
for me.
This hideous beast
shall submit to
Your Lordship,
I am weary!
MY efforts have
left me wanting....
I will find my place
at Your feet
and claim what's mine,
I will crawl like
a beggar
demanding that this
restlessness be quelled.
I am relentless
I will not settle
for less...
I want all
that YOU have
for me!
