(A song in my heart)
I'm awakened each morning _with a renewing of my mind
For Jesus _is daily__ re-minding me __
For I know _the old thoughts _I use to have
Wasn't bringing _God glory__
Jesus is re-minding me _everything will be okay
The Holy Spirit is guiding me _in the strait and narrow way
It doesn't matter_ what the world may see or say__
For He is the Alpha and Omega_ in control still today
He re-minds me_ the most important thing_ is love
This was the commandment_Jesus brought from above
He has re-minded me_ in all I say and do_
To do it in love _and all things will go well with you
He has re-minded me _what true faith really is__
To put your trust in Jesus _as long as you live__
Love is the only thing__you get more of _when given away
He also re-minds me of the promises_if we just obey
You see my old mind _wouldn't have thought on this
It is the renewing of my mind __through my Christ Jesus
For if you yourself _will call upon His name__
He will hear and answer _as He renews your mind the same
It's the renewing of the mind _that truly sets one free_
For the things of this world__are only temporary_
Think on the word_and be re-minded too
God and His infinite wisdom_has blessings for you_
There is no respector _of persons you see
He hears the prayers_of all that want to be free
His word does a washing in your body and mind
As He re-minds me of His love so true__ and so kind
Today and everyday_I wanna be re-minded__
Of the cross at calvary__and Jesus' loving kindness_
Re-mind us_ Dear Jesus_the sacrifice for all man
The greatest love __ever known__
Is the nail scars _in His feet and hands__
I pray this will be__the utmost re-minder__ to all_
That they hearken __to the Holy Spirit's beckon call_
For it was love__that nailed you to the cross _that day_
And it is love that re-minds me__My sins were washed away
Re-mind us all Dear Lord__your love is so true___
Re-mind us Dear Jesus__that you will see us through__
Re-mind us it is only __in thee we should trust__
For on calvary it was finished__and it was done with pure love___
