Moving On

I haven't seen you for quite some time
So tell me how have you been?

Tell me of your journey away
And all that you have seen,

Was it all you thought it would be?
Your journey far away,

Or have you suddenly realized
It's with me you want to stay,

I can still recall the day
You walked out the door,

You said you were not happy
And you longed for so much more

Your words were cold and callus
They sent chills up and down my spine

It was at that moment I realized
You were no longer mine,

So here you are once again
Standing at my door,

Well my dear it's best you go
For I deserve so much more
