 Julias' Poetry from the Heart

Remember Me

I can see you sitting over there

Staring out the window without a care,

You look so frightened, lost and alone

Are you remembering your once happy home?

Watching all the people passing by

Your eyes occasionally drift toward the sky,

You seem to be lost in a time long passed

Searching for a memory you hope will last,

With your hands folded in front of you

Resting upon your knee,

I watch your eyes begin to move

I wonder what you see,

Are you thinking of a time

When you were young and free,

Or are you searching for the women

You used to be,

Time has not stood still

The years have quickly passed,

I watch you close your eyes

As you pray for this memory to last
