In the letter box...
In the letter box
I slipped my life
and let it post away...
All the faces
through the slot
faded in their sway...
No longer fighting
for my soul
and all that's really me...
I let the blackness
in it's square
be where it should be....
The post man came
and took that life
and sent it on to you...
I walked away
sliced in half
into a place that's new...
