Little Man
Your loss of me is just for now
Although painful I know somehow
We will relive what we once had
Mother, family for me be glad
My time though short is what I took
With us, of you when back we look
Of Eight birthday's and holidays
Of candles lit, of special days
There is no good in this goodbye
Especially now but please so try
To keep, treasure, what GOD did give
To you I love, and all we lived
Kodak moments and spills where I
Would fall and bruise, sometimes I'd cry
But there you were to save the day
To kiss boo boos and say go play
The Christmas Gifts that mesmerized
Where eyes would peek and act surprised
The trips taken some far and near
Were my best days of you quite clear
Hold on to me as I do you
Together mom we'll make it through
You see you helped this boy become
Your little man and loving son
In memory of Stephen Leef
