SUN TOUCH MY SKIN

foggy morning leaves
bold sun appears blinding
gray turns to yellow
white goes to blue
all inner workings
mount time on a vessel
to carry out and away
what was
for what is now
sun touch my skin
ivory white can burn
set it on fire
as the afternoon will pass
and so will we.
