 Babel

I live in a world that's full of frustration,
from all of the verbal masturbation.
So many people echoing words of naught,
many of them not using any thought.
Some of them sound like a redundant preacher,
others sound a lot like Charlie Browns teacher.
Words have power and energy,
yet, there are so few that will ever see.
They're constantly babbling and babbling on,
let's get to the point of your mumbling song.
You ever have some one say "How you doin"?
They don't really care if you've had a screwin.
No one seems to care what others say,
unless it will benefit their own day.
The other day a man asked me "What do you know"?
The answer I gave him was quite the show.
I said "More than I should and less than I want".
it was really quite a remarkable stunt.
The man looked at me and shook his head,
from the confusing remark I had said.
Now when he sees me he just says “Hello“,
I put a end to his question and the babbling show.
