What I See

What I see is homeless people
livin' in the streets.
Suffering animals put to a
deathless sleep.

What I see is our youth in
destructive violence an neglected
kids sitting in silence.

What I see is life with no
barrier to hold
men and women in jail see nothing
but steel bars and the invisible hole.

What I see isn't always pleasant
but I thank God for the things
he's granted me.
Most of all my sight for many
people are not able to see
what it is that I see.
