Echoes of the Heart
Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 Moment to Moment with Classmates
A group of once upon a time
scattered to season like wine.
Some went abroad for a reason,
others stayed to master piano lesson.

One day, Elizabeth made a wish
to gather her classmates in a mesh,
suggesting a get together in 2009
Ed and Raymundo shall entwine.

Maribel and Alex come to the rescue
whoever receives the many a hue
such as Ed fixing his diaper to bed
Ray's sent message form ipod imitated.

Gracia the mercury, is missing
in America she must be singing
music of praises for Obama
she must now be in Oklahoma.

Virgie remains in Nebraska
because it's colder in Alaska
Fe preferred Texas to New York
because champagne there has no cork.

Ed has been desirous of seeing Almarica
efforts I did checking at GSIS lusad-saka
but alas, difficult to find hit nagpa lipo
mas madali pamiling hit hipo kay dako.

Remember Lex we had coffee in Tacloban?
Guia and I headed the way to Tanauan,
we entrusted Maribel unto your hand
we forgot to ask you, “nanguli kamo daman?”

Ray was lost to track
after uploading his Kodak
sometimes sending from his ipod
to let everyone know hiya naliwat tilupad.

Many more things to say
but I rather keep some at bay
lacking at the moment funny issues
my weary mind no longer indigenous.

May you all not be offended
these are but happenings indeed.
laugh is an exercise we need
from seriousness we used to heed.
