Pleading for Purity
Unto you I will say,
Give witness in the Lord;
Each and every day,
As beloved and adored.
No longer shall you go,
Following desires;
That evil would bestow,
The lit earthly fires.
No places to embark,
Giving worldly delights;
Shadows hide in the dark,
That are like parasites.
Your heart has been made pure,
For God and His wisdom;
So Jesus can assure,
Your place in His Kingdom.
Words as righteous and true,
The only ones to speak;
And what your eyes to view,
Only what Christ would seek.
So watch out where you walk,
Stay on the righteous path;
And the words that you talk,
To be spared from the wrath.
