i'm a sad CLOWN,
when no one else is AROUND
i wipe away my fake smile,
look into the mirror and FROWN
that's why i prefer gray clouds and dark skies,
which means that rain is about to come rushing DOWN
i refuse to be HAPPY!
as long as the rich and the WEALTHY
insist on being so darn GREEDY!
poor people all around the globe are CONSTANTLY,
being treated BADLY
without so much as a written APOLOGY
in some COUNTRIES
children are so HUNGRY,
they can't even run and play
their little BODIES
need nourishment IMMEDIATELY
yes, i'm a sad clown,
maybe one day i'll be able to SMILE
MEANWHILE, my frozen tears
have been gathered into a huge, icy PILE
when negative actions are no longer on FILE...
my salty cubes will melt into a warm river,
which will flow into
the endless oceans of a positive LIFESTYLE
somewhere, an innocent child
wished upon a shinning STAR
to change the way things ARE
The Powerful Being which govern
this universe is compassionate...
the golden shores of Utopia can't be too FAR
that innocent child who made a wish,
knew that somehow, someway,
the meek and the weak will EVENTUALLY
BE set FREE
my big, colorful shoes and polka dot pants
will once again be looked upon as FUNNY
now i can put my make-up back on,
so that children will play with ME
and my little PUPPY, whose name is SPARKY
our purpose in life is to make people HAPPY
by jumping and dancing and juggling things
even the ELDERLY will laugh and say that we're SILLY
a suicidal TENDENCY
should never be linked to a clown's DESTINY
that innocent child who made a wish,
is the reason i'm able to keep my SANITY
