Generally speaking as most can see
Upon this earth on which we dwell-
Man is and has been his own problem
Man threatens his own destiny-
Amounts of natures natural effects
Compared to earthly mans effects on man-
Man out weighs and causes man more woe
Across all history and any earthly span-
Amounts of danger of natures natural doing
Compared to the most dangerous life on earth-
Man more feared than anything being
Sometimes more dangerous than he has worth-
There is no compulsion for man to be this way
Not with anything needed to be-
And man could work with nature ever so more
Earth and man could have almost a dual destiny-
Our earthly nature gives us way more endlessly
Man generally speaking takes away-
And seldom gives back what he has borrowed
Man generally speaking must always have his way-
Man often works against natures natural laws
And this causes friction often without need-
And to a growing extent it seems to be
The tension between the two it grows with speed-
Man feels at times he is in complete control
Of earth and it's natural being in his way-
But earth and it's natural being in it's self
Will forever and always have the final say-
The very smallest things that man decides to do
Has an effect upon earth and it's natural being-
Greatly somewhere further along the way to come
Man generally speaking carries on without seeing-
Generally speaking man feels he owns this earth
But that could not be further from how things are-
Man is only here for but awhile and visiting
With more consideration we all could go so far-
