Power Charged Love

As the Father has shown His love,
From up in the Heaven above;
Onto you I speak and proclaim,
Of your need in doing the same.

It is not a love such as lust,
More of a love that you can trust;
A love that shows you really care,
And that you are willing to share.

Christ has given love onto you,
A heavenly love that is true;
And in His love you will remain,
From all sinful ways you abstain.

You have love if you keep His law,
For the love will prevent the flaw;
And you love as Jesus commands,
Resisting immoral demands.

Jesus wants to have joy in you,
With everything that you do;
So that your joy may be complete,
As you and Christ finally meet.

So have love for one another,
Just as a sister or brother;
There is no greater love to give,
To die so another can live.
