Overcoming The Same Failure
At this moment Lord
I just want to run away and hide,
Every fiber of my being
Is shutting down inside.
My mind is torn to pieces
O Lord,
how long will this last?
This trial is reminiscent
of failure in my past.
But Lord,
You promised
I would never walk this walk alone,
So here I am
Begging, Grace and mercy
from YOU ALONE.
My sinful flesh in the past
has been my worse enemy.
How do I die to self,
And let You take control of me?
I need to trust
without a shred of doubt
I have YOUR GRACE,
I know this is a trial
that You are calling me to face.
