Ship on the horizon ever far
Slowly it appears to make it's way-
One wonders as one watches it there
And thinks who upon it spends their day-
Are they happy , are they sad with woe
Are they leaving or maybe going home-
One wonders are they enjoying their time
Or maybe are they feeling so alone-
Sitting here fishing upon a rock
As an almost meditational activity-
To rest ones mind , some peace to find
Early on this summers morn just me-
Slowly the ship moves further still
And one watches it now just a dot-
One thinks of it coming,being,going
Resembling life , memories , life's lot-
In life things they come , they stay awhile
And then slowly after awhile they go away-
Just as another ship will one day appear
More so like life's unending play-
Like the ship sailing slowly on by
Our lives more so much the same-
All coming , being , going away
With it divided by sunshine and rain-
And like the souls on board the ship
As we live in life we meet them all-
Our lives are ever so like them to
We climb , we reach a point , and we fall-
Our lives always changing and moving on
Never the same right through it seems-
Always coming , being , going away
A little some what like life's dreams-
