ENDLESS LOSS

~^^~ENDLESS LOSS~^^~

In our lifetime there is so much we lose
And it is not always something we choose,
Our birth is the beginning of our doom
We lose the security of the womb.

.....Loss.....

Some of the things we can and do lose are�
We lose our teeth and we can lose our hair,
We can lose our sight or it just dims
We can even lose the use of our limbs.

.....Loss.....

We can lose our speech and our hearing too
Losing pride or dignity makes us blue,
Losing our memory is so unkind
We don`t know who we are without our mind.

.....Loss.....

Along the way we lose family and friends
And the broken heart it brings never mends,
We can even lose the will to live
And for others our lives we`d gladly give.

.....Loss.....

Still, everyone`s story ends the same way
We all meet our Maker on our last day,
We may have traversed hard times and strife
But in the end we ALL lose our life.
