During Troubled TimesDuring troubled times in life And they do turn up as they do- We always have several choices Things that within we know so true- When times get harder sometimes slowly We have roads during same that we can take- That will lead us from negative to positive Many choices we have that we can make- We can always strive to pass life's tests Of life and love and living as they come- Not blaming others for our own mistakes But instead do our best to get things won- If ever we need help from our real friends The very real ones that in life we know- Most of all over time that we have been there For them in situations of life it is so- Never blaming others for our own problems Unless they are the very ones to blame- Trying to be warm and ongoing positive And never adding negativity to the flame- Communication it covers so much ground In moving us away further from the storm- We might even feel to learn as to walk again But we have done that after being born- Not giving up but digging deep within To find a better positive way to go- Remembering always that it's sunshine That only turns up to melt away the snow- Striving to be the soul we are within And knowing bads they never make a right There's a better day awaiting tomorrow Even if it does not turn up over night- Your very best friends they will listen But we need as well to listen too- And when we are weighted down with trouble Love .. can only make us feel brand new- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2009 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
