Pleasant Seems The SceneEarly sunshine slowly peeping through Slowly light it fades the grey- Bringing smiles if just a few Slowly coming a brighter day- Smallest birds sing here and there- As they venture out to play- Charisma it ventures out again Choosing now slight of display- The tall grasses now standing in the breeze One hopes for small flowers soon to be- One notices the smallest forming buds Forming upon branches within the trees- Squirrels skipping here and there A pet struts out for a walk around- Leaves put on a slightest dance Helped by a small breeze upon the ground- A feeling as if the worst is past From something that had been- A slightly lighter feeling now of heart More pleasant seems the scene- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2009 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
