Set Hope on Mercy
Gird up the loins of your mind,
Be sober setting your hope;
On the Lord who is so kind,
Comforting to help you cope.
For the power of His grace,
As revealed through Jesus Christ;
Vanishing without a trace,
After He was sacrificed.
God shows us what He can do,
With each and every time;
When we are not always true,
How we pay for our crime.
But through the mercy of God,
And having a firm belief;
He will repair where is flawed,
That will give us a relief.
We are holy as composed,
As long as we will confess;
His door will never be closed,
And continually bless.
So keep yourself on a mindset,
And constantly vigilant;
Away from spiritual debt,
So you remain resilient.
