Wise Words from Heaven

Do not be a teacher my brother,
For we judge harder than another;
As we can say wrong of many things,
And finding such a consequence brings.

If a man makes a slip of his talk,
Spewing harsh words while he does squawk;
Then he is unable to control,
Corruption within his inner soul.

Even though the tongue is a small part,
It is still connected to the heart;
Revealing the nature deep inside,
Of the true ambition to abide.

The thing that makes everything worse,
The same tongue praises as it will curse;
And if by chance that was not enough,
The lips tend to enhance any bluff.

So along with the lips and the tongue,
Air is forced out from deep in the lung;
Words in this air are powered by earth,
Since not by Heaven they have no worth.

Wisdom from Heaven is soft and kind,
Gentle from the ear into the mind;
Holding the antidote that is pure,
For treating the cursing that will cure.
