Love and Forgive For to Eternity to Live
Heavenly Father I come to you today
Thanking you for the Lord's prayer given us to say
For the father of lies is still at it and accusing
Even more sad it is the body of Christ he's using
Causing strife and discord among your members
Promoting bitterness instead of forgiveness
And all the while the devil is laughing
For he knows the end results of this happening
It causes division and much seperation
To the point of robbing some of sanctification
Worst of all taking them out of their love walk
By backbiting and the ungodly talebearing talk
This causing the sin of unforgiveness to breed
Which robs the partakers of life eternity
For it is written for us to be forgiven we must forgive
Remind us of our love walk that with you we may live
Examine our hearts Lord and let us confess
That we can become more like you without any mess
Help us to love those that are even unkind
For it is thru your love that we can renew our mind
Help us to see others through your eyes
For ultimately it's the accuser seeking our demise
This is a truth that all mankind must realize
To have victory we must bind the father of lies
For to be heirs of the Most High King
We must love and forgive our enemies and brethren
Daily walking in love and to always do good
Loving our neighbor as ourselves
For it's commanded in the good book
Let us put aside anything that attempts to destroy
For discord comes from the devil and will steal our joy
Let us be kind and tenderhearted to one another
Forsaking and binding up any ill thoughts of others
For love and forgiveness brings life eternity
There's nothing worth going to hell for let us see
Running to the throne instead of to the phone
Is pleasing to our Father that watches for all is known

Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be any other commandment,
it is briefly comprehended in this saying,
namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:
therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
