Of Second Wind and Sand Castles
Out of breath at least for now
As thoughts of you leave us somehow
Thinking deep of what can come
Of you and us when we are done
There's something here that was not there
Yea something good thats seems to care
About my day and whats for lunch
Sometimes we feel Hawian punched
Crazy seems right at least for me
It's where we find this ecstasy
In some funny you share that shakes
A dead man walking today awake
Insane I'll sound when you read this
Maybe corny and with a twist
I will unwind while thoughts of you
Become our day, no longer blue
This second wind cannot be found
When you're not here to hang around
To keep me whole where craziness
Completes the me that once felt less
and if today became my end
I'll take what helped my heart to mend
A piece of you, we did not see
My second wind and fantasy
But please... No Sand Castles!
