"A Day In The Country"
Let's spend a day in the country,
we'll enjoy God's clean fresh air.
In the vast wide open spaces,
rolling hills are everywhere.

We'll get in touch with nature,
beneath a mountain so high.
Feel the morning sun so bright,
while puffs of clouds roll by.

We'll watch the Hawks circling overhead,
listen to the birds sing their first song of the day.
The critters they'll pounce their way through the forest,
as the country puts her life on display.

Let's spend a day in the country,
where life stands still for a while.
The deer; they'll feed in the open meadows,
where natures beauty stands out for miles.

This beautiful day in the country;
So peaceful and serene.
Is like having a little bit of heaven;
where God does intervene
