Bon Voyage
Today is the eve of our vacation, tomorrow we set sail;
We are scampering around, attending to every detail.
Our flight is at dawn, we will drive through the night;
But at this very moment, I am inspired to sit and write.
To each of you who visit my website, I do thank you;
Until my return I leave with you my wish for peace, adieu.
The Crown Princess awaits us, our plans are now complete,
To tropical destinations we go, the sand under our feet.
Excitement levels are high for both my wife and I today,
We are looking forward to time together, a nice getaway.
Sun, good food, dancing, the islands, and some romance;
All of this and more, as a cruise does truly touch and enhance.
We are anticipating the raising of the ship's anchor tomorrow,
I can't wait to hear that traditional phrase which we did borrow.
The ship's horn blows out its deep tones as we will get underway,
Bon voyage, Sherrie and Fred, we will hear; now on to the buffet.
