People talk about world peace
Yet wars get worse day by day
When will all the violence cease?
There must be a much better way
Maybe your life is full of confusion
You long for peace within your soul
Seeking your purpose and mission
What will it take to make you whole?
There is a bumper sticker I have seen
It says this “Know Jesus, know peace”
“No Jesus, no peace” what does it mean?
Jesus is the only way you will be at ease
Will all your problems just vanish away?
No, but it is God who gives renewed hope
With added strength to overcome each day
What is the secret that enables you to cope?
Consider for a moment the lifestyle of Jesus
Never overwhelmed or internally frustrated
Peaceful spirit, deep inner joy, and calmness
Enjoyed children, willing to be interrupted
God desires the same for you and much more
How is this possible since you are still human?
First, you invite Jesus into your heart's door
Accepting His redemption plan for every man
Then, like a little seed, your faith begins to grow
Through the Holy Spirit teaching you His ways
By studying His Word, you will learn and know
His character, which is your example day by day
Are you experiencing His joy and peace today?
Have you accepted His payment for your sins?
If you said no to the above, do not turn away
God is reaching out to you, wanting to come in
