 Breath of Death
Pushed backwards with one swoop, off the banks of security.
in a terror stricken plunge into the cold, murky Lagoon.
The inanimate smell fills the senses, over-shadowing the despair,
for Hope-
The young body struggles in panic to live, and exhausts the energy-
for peace-
slipping away, unheard beneath death's veil.
A collapsing will fades with numbness, submerging into a lethargic,
motionless end-
Resting its shell face down on the bottom-in death?
Warmth filled my spirit as it gravitated toward Love's Tunnel of Light,
VOID of fear and pain-
Reviewing Life's journey with all senses of an incomplete mission.
My Spirit "Must" return to the lifeless body, subjected to the cold, fear and trauma of
mud in my nose, ears, eyes and
Escaping the choking hold on Life's breath,
TO LIVE
And experience life with his Love, and knowing the SAVIOR LIVES.
Though overwhelmed with testing situations, strength is provided.
To face death is but a transition to Eternal Life!
