Stairway Sonatas

Seeds of Change

Where are the walls?
How does the window…?
Do you mean…?
I couldn't.

No matter how hard I tried
There was no explanation
For this…inhumanity

So stare me down
To trickle like the rain
For I have a feeling
I won't be coming home again

Oh, no more please
All I can hope for is
Falling down to earth
Soil separating skin
But we're all the same underneath,
Losers failing to win

Choice
Is that even a question?
I don't see myself inside
Should I remain so undecided?
I can't even comprehend at all

Words unfold within
We're chasing rainbows
Colours awash with time,
Fading clings to fuller

More; repress
Taken; less
Now left unseen
Mirrors reflecting dreams

And caressing my up most seeds
A bloom of lilies
Mouths bowed to kiss
Organs still in development

Bruises run riot on arms of steel
Should I remain so undivided?
I can feel the first fall of falter…
Beaded drops that wave me still
From first to last;
To my bed of dark tranquil.
