Preach the LawGive an ear unto the Law, Bending ears about your flaw; As air pushes from the lung, For words flowing off my tongue. Let me tell you a story, Though it is not gory; Some dark sayings of old times, Being involved in some crimes. Which comes to of what we know, When the blessings stop their flow; Because they laud and adored, Idols instead of the Lord. To the children make it clear, In the Lord always have fear; With praise to worship the King, As well as the songs you sing. The great works of wonders done, Through the Father and the Son; And the Spirit giving hope, That is helping us to cope. A new generation whose heart, Is hard and needs a new start; In having the attitude, Keeping His Laws and not rude. --Richard Newton Sherrer Copyright ©2009 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
