 Like Tigers in Cages
Sometimes when I hear you talk about love
All I hear is hatred
From the papers I see mobs have had enough
So no wonder you feel deflated
Drawn to a conclusion
Based on memories and media
In a world of social inclusion
You wait for them to feed ya
You take several paces
In a cubic land
Like tigers in cages
Divided we stand

Why wait now till they have awoken?
Scared of the truth maybe
So you leave words unspoken
Point fingers at me
An impossible figment of you
Seen through rusted bars
Believing what you see is true
As you place emotions in jars
Stuck on empty faces
Counting your paces
Disturbed by untied laces
You live, like tigers in cages.
