won't you let me into hell

I wandered around
but it all looked the same
like a cheap hall of mirrors
on some carnival game
now don't get me wrong
all the people are nice
but there's something to be said
for a man having his vice
all the miracles of life
are brought into view
through corridors of technicolour
brilliant bright blue
I'm bored of my death
now please let me out
this is not what I thought
heaven would be about
all of my life I tried to be good
waiting for the day I expire
and now that I'm dead I can tell you
it'd be more fun down there in the fire
there are more rules here
than there ever was on Earth
most of them don't make sense
and for what it's worth
there's nothing wrong
if I want to shout
but there's no shouting in heaven
what's that all about?
there's no talking to strangers
even though I know everyone here
there's no greed or corruption
and nothing to fear
and I'm bored of seeing
the same old things
the pretty pretty angels
I'd clip all of their wings
I'd push people off clouds
and ring the church bell
shout at the top of my voice
won't you let me into hell
