Dear Father
Lord bless my friend ______,
keep her strong in the race,
keep her mighty in Your strength,
Lord help her today to see Your beauty,
steer her eyes away from this ugly evil
that has invaded her thoughts,
yet Lord keep her faithful to lift up
Tim and his needs each day,
send her little reminders of
Your promises and goodness even now.
Lord help her to rise above all that
the tempter uses to oppress,
make her stronger then her enemies.
I thank You Father for all that
You have done in her life
and because of her Tim has
HOPE today, he has a choice.
Lord if the sins of this man and my Father
and who knows how many others disturb us,
How much more when You see all the sins?
For certain this angers You,
the evil of this world never ends,
Yet I know You will judge and punish the wicked!
And I know that You forgiveness is for all men,
excluding none no matter how much we may feel
they don't deserve forgiveness.
So I ask for Your mercy for my own Father
and for this man and all that they represent,
for every sex offender alive,
I asked that You would convict them of their sins,
I ask that You would cause their sins
to torture their thoughts and that they would
find no relief except when they fall before You,
seeking Your forgiveness and their victims.
Lord I ask that You protect children that
are even now being abused by their fathers
and maybe even mothers or siblings Uncles,
neighbors Lord even in churches, Lord this
evil is all over. Lord Jesus help us to live
awake to these things and pray hard for help
from Heaven, Lord God I confess I have not
really prayed for myself or others about these things,
I have sought Your healing and received it and I am grateful,
but Lord I have just shut this out of my mind.
Lord save these children from their abusers.
Then Lord I ask for Tim who sits in a rehab all these years later,
his life up to now has been robbed from him,
he is a prisoner from his pain,
Lord you know all that this young man had to endure as a child,
You do turn evil to good, Lord let this be the time for Tim,
the turning point in his life from being a slave
to his memories to freedom in Your courts,
make Him strong in His faith and use his life
to help others find the way to freedom.
Father I pray this all in Jesus Name AMEN!!!
