What shall I write for my “Theme for English B?”
Can I define everything that is truly me?
My life I can count up to twenty four
Time is a mere thing; to me life is much more
To my husband I am a wife
With him I share my life
To my kids I am a mother
Over them I devotedly hover
Hopes and dreams I have plenty
Some day I hope to help many
Good education grandma would preach
Why, little children I want to teach
From sea to shining sea
I hope never to see America not free
Of my country I must be proud
Even when sin hangs over her as a dark cloud
Where my god leads I will go
I shall not ever hesitate or say no
Through I will travel light
And learn from each and every plight
Where will life take me?
I can not for sure be
But ready I try to stand
For my journey to a promised land
