dog house.
DOG HOUSE
I am like the dog today,
My Lucy oh my pet.
Been turned upside down, spun around.
And the sun Has not even set;
What's in store for me, I do not know
Have I talked to much again?
My attention span is lacking
I have become a out right pain.
I don't like tears of sorrow,
I don't wish you any harm
Forgive my self indulgence please,
I only wish for us both to be calm.
So now you have bolted out the door
Enraged by the things I don't do
I know I should be here, yes
Right here just for you.
I know the lack of money ,
Can fracture and break the trust.
Yes! I am aware of your beauty,
So why then all the fuss?
Your hair falls still bouncing
Your eyes they shine and call
I yearn to lay beside you,
And much more I want you all.
Still Lucy seems to be smiling ,
I feel a reversal of roles;
She seems to have got on too,
That she's higher on the totem pole.
