To pray and confess something to you
As I'm sharing this with others that it may help them too
I've mastered not getting offended except in my family unit
I need your help Lord that comes from your precious Holy Spirit
As in Zechariah 4:6 not by my power or might
But it is through prayer and your Holy Spirit inside
It is through you that prayer is manifested
So help me conquer all offense when tested
As in Jeremiah 29:11... I want your plan for my life
In Eph.3:20... for us you want abundance...not strife
As you take us through to victory and glory to glory too
Help us to crucify our flesh to become more like you
I know I'm not to take any thought of offense Lord
But when it comes from close loved ones it really hurts
Of course I forgive all the rejection and such
But truly my heart is burdened by their action so much
For I truly want to be more like you
A heart that doesn't allow offense to come thru
But when one just shows love and yet rejected
It is so hard for this flesh feeling to be neglected
And then it brings my thoughts into your light
Of how you overcame this of many plights
How you even sweat blood to bring your flesh under
Oh precious Lord help us to crucify this flesh to put it asunder
Please strengthen me Lord each passing day
Take this pain and hurt in my heart away
I know it's not wrong to love this deep
So take the offense for my soul to keep
If others could see within another's heart
Perhaps they'd think twice before tearing it apart
But they have their lives and their own ways
I just pray they'll be more mindful someday
For the love you have filled your children with
Is such a precious beautiful gift
And I wouldn't never want that to change
Except to be more like you ,to grow in agape love each day
So forgive me Lord when I fall short this way
By taking offense of rejection displayed
For I am not perfect but I'm striving to be
Yet all that I am and will be...I owe to thee
So continue your molding me as you will
Filling me daily with your agape love to instill
And thank-you dear Jesus for always being there
Letting me know how much you truly care
I praise you that you are closer than a brother
And never will you forsake me like many others
For it is your love that sustains my life
As well as healing my heart from pain and strife
And Lord you know family is so important to me
Thank-you for my brothers and sisters in thee
That send me email along with prayers and love
They are all truly a blessing sent from above
There's no way I could name each one you see
But truly they are a gift you sent to me
For when ones that have been a part of my life for so long
Turn away as if I've done something wrong
My online friends that you have given me
Always seems to fill me up daily
With love and hugs and encouragement
Along with your most precious presence
I don't like to complain Lord and know that I shouldn't
But I just felt what I'm feeling may also benefit
Another one out there feeling the same way
That sharing this with them they too know to pray
For you are always there even if others go
Oh my sweet Jesus I love you more than ...well you know
I talk to you as I would my best friend
So I forgot there for a moment you know all from within
Thank-you Lord for your love all the day long
It's good to know unconditional love so strong
And Lord if someone else is feeling rejected I pray
That this little poem will cause them to talk to you the same way
For never ever are we alone literally
When we invite you into our heart sincerely
We can always open up our hearts with any hurt
As you will mend them and heal any brokeness for sure
Help all Lord like Paul in the book of Philippians to us
That we might all obtain the mind of our Lord Jesus
As in Philippians 4:6-8 to have peace lovely thoughts we need take
I pray your will be done for all offense that comes to forsake
