Setting Hope
Gird up the loins of your mind,
Keeping watch and be prepared;
Ensuring you are aligned,
With Christ of all He has shared.
Desire with all your might,
For enough grace of your hope;
Having favor within His sight,
In helping you through to cope.
As a child of the Lord,
Do not revert to old ways;
For once your mind has ignored,
It opens the door as it strays.
You know now more than ever,
All the details in your life;
And if with God you sever,
You will be in midst of strife.
Be holy in each day throughout,
Showing others who you are;
And never have any doubt,
That God will take you quite far.
The revelation is soon,
When Jesus Christ will return;
As we see a bloody moon,
That is when each one will learn.
