We Teach Without Example

The Ancients say
When children teach us
By their own example
The world has gone wrong.
Once we were teachers.
Once we were leaders.
Fathers and Mothers and Elders
Leading the way.
Now we follow
Through the darkness
And the children are reaching through
With their hands
For our hands
Doing the best that they can
To lead
In their own way.
