Take the ribbon from my hair
Take this ribbon from my hair
Lay it gently upon the ground
Can you hear the ripples of the waves
From this ocean all around
Let the stars fall from the sky
And the mountains all fall down
Let day light become night fall
And upon your face you wear a frown
Take this ribbon from my hair
Yes shake it loose let it fall
And when the day is over love
Forever we shall stand tall.
