Dispelling Pride and Sin
You are given a chance,
For throwing out your pride;
To warn you in advance,
Of corruption inside.
To be able to live,
In glory of the Lord;
So that He will forgive,
If you just keep His Word.
But it is time you start,
For reserving a place;
Deeply within your heart,
So you receive His grace.
For if you act as fools,
Then it is against God;
In not wanting His rules,
Declaring you a fraud.
It was the love of Christ,
That had undergone death;
On the cross sacrificed,
Up onto His last breath.
So in Christ if within,
If you truly believe;
Be cured of pride and sin,
Salvation to receive.
