Being Justified by Faith
Through faith that we have righteousness,
That lets us be at peace with God;
But transgressions give restlessness,
That is causing us to be flawed.
So through our Lord Jesus Christ,
By faith we come into His grace;
But temptation makes us enticed,
To break out of His sweet embrace.
So let us have the joy in hope,
For all of the glory of God;
Instead of when trying to cope,
Acting as a conceited fraud.
But let us have joy what bewails,
It gives us power as we wait;
For in the end Jesus prevails,
With some blessings to compensate.
For waiting gives experience,
And experience gives us the hope;
For increasing obedience,
Giving knowledge of the full scope.
But hope does not put us to shame,
Since our hearts are full of love;
As our faith will still proclaim,
Devotion to Heaven above.
