A shout of triumph echoed

Grief filled their
fear stricken-ed hearts
His beaten body hung lifeless
the light had died
their hearts sunk
when He cried "IT IS FINISHED"
HIS PROMISES
had left them stranded
weeping endured through
the night then into day
all they could feel was
a presence of despair
they were certain
"THEY WERE FINISHED"
The Father's plan for
salvation was accomplished
"IT WAS FINISHED"
and on the third day
HE AROSE THE VICTOR!
All Heaven and Earth
together sang.....
