Saturday Afternoon

Saturday afternoon in The Chequers
Me Ware and some more
Enjoying quiet pints
Sitting by the door
Listening to the chat
From this civvy holding forth
About his future plans
To expand may be north
I'm the Bingo King of Uckfield
He said to the ladies at the bar
Haywards Heath is next
Then who knows how far
Ware collected stories
Loved listening to chat
Generally chuckling away
At some unsuspecting prat
He regarded this event
As one of his better days
And Bingo King of Uckfield
Became a favoured phrase
