 Imprisoned by my Words

The very words that I write at this moment in time imprison me,
As they label and package a part of an experience to convey to you.
Like the tip of an iceberg, my words only scratch the surface of my reality.
People, animals, flowers, plants, diamonds, stones, the fullness of creation,
Are each limited by my words as they communicate to you only a shard.
Partial glimpses into the reality can lead you to share a moment with me,
But my words alone create within your mind a limited picture of my truth.
My words are released into the universe; I am imprisoned by my words.

The depth of all of creation reaches into the unknowable Oneness of the Creator.
When I label the object of my communication, I place it within a box to convey its contents.
You receive this simplified surface version of reality, without the truth of full dimensions;
No matter how descriptive, or how meticulously I labor to fully capture the moment in words.
It reminds me of my vacation photography; to me the pictures trigger rich lush memories,
But to you, it is only a pretty picture just skimming the surface of the reality portrayed.
If I could just take you by the hand and we share the moment,  just watching…
Silent peace brings the depth to the reality; but if I speak, I am imprisoned by my words.

What then is the solution to my dilemma of my desire to share an experience with you.
Allow my words to only be a signpost, realize it is a mirror reflection of what really is.
Then, open your mind to the depths of the reality of the object of our communication;
Sense silently the fullness of meaning, the interconnectedness to all that exists.
The deeper I look, the more deeply I fall into this state of blissful discovery;
Without walls or limits, the object opens up into the completeness of the universe.
I see God within all that I contemplate, without the limitations of my words and thoughts;
Freedom comes in silent communion with reality, as I am set free from the prison of my words.
