From the Heart Through the Pen

yosph
Imprisoned

She's asking where did he go
I've been here all along
All I ever asked; ever needed
Was a love song dedication
Ain't It Funny How
Now that I'm gone is when you listen
I told you all I need in this life of sin
Was I and you, you and me

She needs me back; is it a dream
Crazy, it's actually a fact
Would you believe life's strife
I'm over here inking at the peak of moonlight
She's over there wishing on that same star
On her knees praying with all her might
Just to get me back in her sight
Am I worth the fight

She says yes and please no more
I can't take it again if you were to go
She leans in for a kiss
And in the blink of an abyss
Electricity becomes my warden
Off goes the radio
And away with the visions
Once again I'm imprisoned
